“Who we are is more important than what we do.” We here at Wavetech truly believe that statement and in that light we decided to kick of the 2017 holiday season by teaming up with the American Red Cross and hosting a blood drive. We have hosted two other drives in the past, but this was a first in our new office.
Part of hosting the drive is actually filling the drive with donators. This gave us an opportunity to get out into our new business complex and meet some of our neighbors. It is always inspiring to me how many people are willing to give something of themselves to help save the lives of complete strangers. We also reached out to our friends and family to make it a grand affair. We ended up exceeding our goal and donating 19 pints of blood. Each pint of blood helps save the lives of 3 people. Not a bad way to start the holiday season if you ask me.
